I'm not excusing Frankie's prices(haven't been just yet), but if they are serving a kosher hotdog(I pray they do?), they should cost more than Sonic..whom is selling a pink-slime hearts-parts-elbows-and-@sshole hotdog..over steamed out bun..thus totally apples and oranges to the discerning palate.

Isn't the FDB great?

There are too many chains. Chains suck. There needs to be more locally owned places.

____________ locally owned place sucks. It's too expensive. They don't give you enough meat.

Is there any pleasing you people?

Does this guy boil his hot dogs? Because if he does this whole thread is totally worthless anyway.

There's your signature dog. With the other dogs you are paying for premium toppings. And they do not steam their dogs. It's either a flat top or gas grill. I don't remember which. I think I know what I'm having for lunch today.

A bit of levity and humor.

You should move to Long Island where a woman was selling BJs along with the dog out of her cart. Indeed, the good old make me one with everything.

Whats your definition of a signature hotdog for $3? If its anything but regular condiments on a small hotdog, you need to join us in the year 2011.

i dont understand why somebody would go out to eat a hotdog. i dont even want to eat that at home.

hot dogs are another reason that the cuisine in chicago is absolutely horrid.

Sounds like years ago when everyone was paying $3.12 for a cup of coffee. Thank god that trend finally...
