Why would the owner allow this shite? It's not like there are 12 locations to oversee. New management means nothing in this situation. It's a hot dog stand. The term management might be getting thrown around considering there are 3 total employees.

The fact is by most accounts the product was better when Danny was there. If what is said about the questionable transactions is true, then I guess the owner had no choice. I thought however that he was the owner. The piece that ran on the news a while back said he was the owner.
As far as the chilli, I was never that big of a fan of his. I would still take it over a cold red sauce.
I have already heard a few too many bad reviews of what the place has become so I think I may be done with it. That sucks, because I really liked the place.

Really had no choice. Sucks when you do a family member a favor. No, Danny was not a part owner or anything.

Where did you here this? I think you have bad information. The hours are listed as 5:00 p.m. - 2:00 a.m. I think it's just a hangout for the flat billed affliction types.

If you need help with your sanwich shop, gimme a buzz. I'm helping a buddy set up a catering company up there next month.
Also, what role does the manager or ACME play in frankie's? I know he was working at acme, along with part owner maybe? Wasn't a doc from oschner in there too? They need to get their stuff together, looks like a lot of people aren't going back.

Just find it odd that the owner divulged all this to a random patron.

Their menu is on their facebook page. It was $4.50/dog plus toppings. It better be the best hot dog in town for that price.

Danny worked @ ACME. The sole owner is a doc from ocshner.
I was actually referred to him being a shoulder specialist. Tore the subscapylarium tendon playing ball. He replaced a friend of mines knee. My whole family lives in La.
I will email you bout some information. I'm interested in starting the shop around January. I've been shopping locations, distributors, etc. Thank you in advance

Well the build a dog at Frankie's is $4.95. If they are good I don't care what they cost. I don't eat them daily.

I am apparently out of the loop on the prices. $10 for two hot dogs seems pretty rediculous to me.

building a proper Chicago style hot dog requires some things you wont use everyday...I just find it easier and cheaper to pay the 5 bucks at Chicago Als for my once a month hot dog...than cleaning out those jars of banana pepper rings from the frig every few months or running around town for poppy seed buns. If cooking for myself +1 - not worth it....For a group - worth it. I will make it a point to check out Dirty Dogs next week and report back.
