Cooked my first batch yesterday. For a bag jambalaya mix it's as good as it gets imo.
I followed the instruction with the exception of using chopped seasonings after browning the sausage and cubes pork.

Jody is from Gonzales. I think he was the 2008 Jambalaya Festival champion and then won the champions cookoff the next year. I tried his dirty rice recipe for Thanksgiving; it was a hit! Nice guy; he responds to questions emailed to his website personally.

Oak Point in Watson had some free samples of it the other day. I was not impressed. I love Oak Grove mix and this was nowhere in the same category.
