Not a bad looking menu, I wonder if NGT can execute it well. I'll have to stop by next time I'm in BR.

Owner of NGT went to culinary school and used to own a "gourmet burger" restaurant when she lived in California, so she knows what she's doing I'd like to think.

I haven't tried it out yet. The menu is interesting though.

They weren't serving food last night, so we went to the Purple Goose. I was pleasantly surprised.

Haven't tried it, but its probably decent considering the owners background.

Menu

Purple Goose is new place where Couyons used to be.
Cheese fries, boudin balls, fried alligator, peanut butter bacon burger, chicken and waffles, fish and chips.

Definitely better than Couyons

Went last night.

$5 pitchers, lettuce wraps were awesome, very good spicy peanut sauce.

I got the blue cheese, bacon and shroom burger, buddy got the potato breakfast burrito. Handcut, garlic herb fries. We left happy.

Paid about $13 a piece.

Good stuff

Just picked up food from NGT.

I used to work there (like a year ago) and I heard great things about Dusty's burgers.

I ordered over the phone the Dusty Burger (grilled onions, bacon, swiss, lettuce, onion strongs, horsey sauce) and the Garlic and Herb Fries. Well, I just got home, and my burger is the Bypass Burger instead (cheese, bacon, sunny side up egg, mayo) :( Either the girl didn't hear me correctly over the phone, or someone else is going home with my food

That being said, it's freaking awesome. I love the bread especially. Very good. The fries are good too. Not overseasoned like I've found to be the case with other places' specialty fries.
