Margaret's German Restaurant. Surprisingly very good. Make sure to get the potato pancakes with whatever else you order.

Shawkat's Mediterranean Grill - also surprisingly good. I remember having the cabbage rolls and kafta and liking both a lot.

Fair warning I haven't been there in about 10 years, so hopefully they kept the quality up. Both have very good ratings still.

Broken Arrow (you won't know where Tulsa stops and it starts; they're jammed together) has the Rose District. It is a park and walk area like an old downtown, with several restaurants and shops.

We had a good meal and beers at the Main Street Tavern there a couple years ago.

Rose District

Stonehorse- sit at the bar. Get steak tartare and/or Niçoise salad

American Solera- incredible local beer and food trucks around. 18th and Boston

Amelia’s- wood fired grill in Brady district

Bodeans- a bit south and not best atmosphere but incredibly fresh fish

Hodges Bend for cocktails

Yokozuna downtown is great Asian fusion and sushi. The pork belly ramen was bomb.

Man I like your posts but sushi is just not where I’d focus my time and attention. Average at best.

Forgot to mention Burn Co which I think is arguably as good as any cue in Texas or KC

It’s actually a pretty fun atmosphere and if you drink enough the sushi works.

Speaking of drinking, Valkyrie is walking distance and incredible bar.

We had one or two rolls then some apps and ramen. Couple bottles of sake too. It was a really cool atmosphere and they had the best waitress I’ve ever had in my life there.

Valkyrie is the shite! Yeah it’s just a block or so away.

Smoke on Cherry. One of the better restaurants in the state. Nice cigar selection as well.

Hodges's Bend is great for ritzy drinks.

Great lunch spot downtown called LaSalle's. Run by couple from Metairie who moved up after the storm.

If you’re with a group, Redrock Canyon is a great option. It’s a small regional chain but great service and quality.

Blue Dome district for food and drink. Lots of good choices. Prairie taproom obviously as well.
