Again, Republic is the distributor.....so which ever liquor stores buys from Republic "should" have it and if they don't you could probably ask them to order some. It has been flying off of shelves around BR.

im not lazy. I called republic but was connected to someone with an intellect not much higher than a ape. so basically I wasnt able to get the info from them.

not a problem. i dont live in lafayette so i dont know any of the liquor stores there. thats why I was hoping someone had bought from one of the stores so I wouldnt have to chase it down. In the meantime I will stop by the stores in opelousas to see if they have or can get it.

what is the deal with this stuff? Is it flavored or do they make a real vodka that is good?

It is "infused" with sweet tea (flavoring). It's slightly less alcoholic than normal vodka (only 70 proof), but tastes amazing.

I don't think they make a non-flavored vodka.

Should be able to get Firefly a lot easier now that they have partnered with Buffalo Trace Distillary (?)to produce more of it.

Someone else has put out a Sweet Tea Vodka. Forget who it was but was advertised in last weeks City Paper (An alt-weekly in Charleston). Firefly's biggest goal is to get it out as quick as they can so when you think "Sweet Tea Vodka" you think Firefly.

a great mix for this is half firefly, half lemonade with a little soda water to give it some bubbly.

it wasn't "sweet tea" enough for me....

Try it with a splash of simple syrup (mint-infused or regular). Yum!

i drank so much of this in Charleston before the SC game, me and my g/f brought 4 bottles back on the plane and then I come back and it's everywhere in BR. Oh well, it is still awesome. If you like grand marnier or can afford it, I was drinking them in Charleston with grand marnier and a splash of sour mix... that was the best one. Other than that they mix it with lemondade or just water.
