The French Dip at Francois’s is probably the worst meal I’ve had in my life

Cold deli meat and American cheese on a hot dog bun served with a side of cold packet gravy

Agreed. We went this summer for the first time in many years. There were plenty of customers and the food was good.

I went back in August and it was terrible and the restaurant was really dirty

I had a burger at Frankie's Dawg House off Perkins near the Overpass and the hamburger meat tasted rotten.. like it had been sitting in the refrigerator, uncovered for months.

The interior of the place looks like a shanty in the Dominican Republic. I should've know.

“Never understood why people enjoy Jay’s”

I love Jay’s barbecue sandwiches. Probably been going to the one on Government for nearly 50 years.

Jays is their own thing. Not really traditional bbq, imo.

That being said, I really enjoy it. The sliced beef poboy was my pregnancy craving. I made many a frenzied drive from downtown to Midcity for lunch.
