Has anyone had trouble finding prime briskets in the NOLA metro area?

I have not checked in the last 2 weeks but when I was looking 2 weeks ago both Sams Club and Costco did not have any. Physically went to Costco and Sams, called the following weekends, no prime briskets.

Lakeview Grocery had one sitting in their meat section the other day. Good price too.

At Costco right now. They have about 25 of them out. $2.79lb

Thank you. That is a really good price. I feel like I remember them being like $3.49.

Sam's in Lafayette yesterday.....2.76 per pound. Had to do a double take. Truth be told, it seemed to be more fatty on the outside than the other non-prime briskets (almost excessive).

I bought it anyway

Zuppardo's had em earlier today at $3.49 per lb. The rest of their groceries have underwent serious price creep since they moved into their new Taj Mahal-ish building.
