Weekend is here my dudes, we have made it. In Tyler, Texas for a wedding so naturally had to stop in for their best bbq to see how it stacks up to the gulf coast / central Texas cue.
FBD live from Stanley’s bbq is a True Vine Daddy’s Juicebox. Isn’t exactly a juicebox but unexpectedly solid for local swill. Ribs and brisket are great:

Cue was good, nothing mind blowing considering they’ve been on the Texas Monthly list for a while. I’d say on par with Smoke in Covington for those playing at home, but Killens / Pit Room, hell even the Joint are on a level above.
3BD is an ETX Park Project, the other local breweries NEIPA. Admire the effort but meh:
