Grunion is probably my favorite Ballast Point beer. Pretty cool setup, so you get draft beer mouth feel and carbonation levels from a off the shelf beer.

I have the bags too, need to get the tap kit to fill them. wanted to get this up and running and will circle back to the bags. Bags hold a gallon too. Once a bag or growler is prepped I can pull before killing it and put it in the fridge and put another one in and it will keep the CO2.

I got these from a tap at 504 in New orleans. My other growler that I prepped and in the fridge is Southern Prohibition BBA Barley Legal.

You don't think all the air is going to make make those beers fade really quick?

I meant the air in the growler and from coming out the original tap.

Even capping a growler back only makes it last about 12-24hrs before it falls off.

The air introduced during the fill process. Oxidation kills beer.

It does but when you introduce the CO2 it pushed the air out and all that is left is CO2. I think the key is to get it into the system pretty soon after the do the fill.

The bags don't have this issue, you already have a cap on the bag and tubes to fill it up so there is no air at all.

We will see but I did talk to people about the growler before I got this and they said 2 weeks easy.

Foam could be a function of beer line length vs. serving pressure -- look up balancing kegererator beer lines. 12 psi needs ~10' of line.

Next up is a home brew:
