I just don't like Gnarvana, it is really sweet to me and I don't get the pineapple that everyone else mentions.

I’ll be around Saturday but headed west on Sunday am. I wanted to hit NOLA with the new release at 11am Saturday.

Opps, edit —— Out Sunday

It definitely has a sweetness to it but it has a nice juicy finish imo. I can see it turning super sweet kinda quick though

See I don't get a juicy finish, kinda a bitter/odd aftertaste to it. Wonder if it is just a bad four pack.

Sup, bud!

You won’t find much southern grist in bham. That’s a Nashville brewery.

Go by TrimTab and Ghost Train. If you’re at Trimtab, see if they have any Enigma Singularity (NE ipa) 006 (or any of the gallery series beers). If they have any Langauge of Thunder, pick up some of that too... it’s an imperial stout with three variants: regular, mocha, and cumulus (coconut). Cumulus is the best, but all three are good.

If you go by Ghost Train, grab some boysenberry smoothie sours, judge juicy, and maybe stout side of the moon. Also if they have any other “limited release” beers check those out.

That’s right, there was a debate that SG was better than Bearded Iris I read. Just passing though in a couple weeks on my way to TN. I figure that would be the best place to stop at a bottle shop.

If you’re just wanting to hit up a bottle shop, I would go to Hop City. Pretty sure they have the best selection in town and you can probably get any of the stuff I mentioned from there

It gets pretty heated over which is better, Bearded Iris and Southern Grist

I say... why not both?
