I have a friend going back home to Cali (Ventura to be exact) in 2 weeks and is taking a list of beers with him to ship to me while he's there. I'll go back and visit come Cali threads, but besides Firestone Walker (which he may go visit) and Russian River, what are some other greats I could have him ship to me?
I'll also need to tell him how to ship to me. I know pack in a strong box, with tons of cushion and popcorn and paper, and fedex it. Don't say it's beer. But more help on that would be great as well.

FBD or something like it to come after work

Just got home from the DMV. Definitely cracking a beer. FBD will be one of those cans of Hopitoulas I picked up over the weekend, super curious to see how it compares to draft.

Mark fragile, say it is glassware. USPS is a crimes, FEDex/UPS is just against their rules.

I have an extra one of those Blackwell's boxes if bringing it empty on the plane is an option. Only fits 12 bombers or so.

Thanks man. I think I may FedEx a box or two I have left from Let's Pour to his house in Cali. I'll have some shipping supplies in there along with a return slip.

The FedEx place my friend uses in Colorado would do all the packaging and that stuff never had a problem. Not sure exactly how he approached them to pull it off, he just dropped if off and paid for everything.

Wrap entire contents in garbage bag. Don't learn the hard way like me.

I imagine this is amazing fresh, 4 months old its just good. Too sweet, lost a bunch of hop bitterness to balance it out.

I had one recently that was a bit fresher and REALLY enjoyed it.

Their rye pale ale series was amazing.
