Jax, have you had the Boneyard/Widmer Blacklight IPA?
A maven-in-training from around your parts sent me one last week, and I am wondering if it is 10 months old. Did they brew it more than once?

As far as I know, it was a one-time deal. I tasted it once, and thought it was unremarkable. Seems that some Black IPAs last quite a while. Maybe this is one of them. Can't hurt to give it a shot...
Someone from these parts sent you that? Tell them to go to Growler Guys and send you a growler off the menu. They have a number of Growler Guys in the state if he doesn't live in Portland.

Hint: If looking for an IPA/DIPA, all of them are usually good, but anything from Boneyard, Barley Brown's, Alpine, Crux Fermentatio Project, Firestone Walker, or Russian River is likely to be exceptional.

None for me today. I had 3 cans of Oskar Blues Ten Fidy last night. It was so good and such a rich stout. I woke up this morning with a jackhammer going off in my head. I then looked at one of the cans....I didn't realize they were freaking 10.5%.

Seriously? A biscuit shop on a show on fried chicken?
ETA: When you make it here, I'll take you to The Beermongers/Apex Bar and we'll walk across the street to it. You can decide if you want to eat there, or go to Lardo, just up the road.

How is that? They have it on draft here at WF. I've never tried any of the Brooklyn beers.
