Does anyone else get a milky/lactose flavor with DH breakfast? Almost like a mild melted milkshake flavor. I get it a little on the nose as well.
I've had a few other citra hopped beers that had this characteristic, but I wasn't sure if that was the culprit. I Love it. I get a very faint hint of I think mosaic, which is all I really need with that hop.
Anyway, great beer here.

Some breweries have been adding lactose to some of their beers as of recent. I think people are calling those "milkshake" IPAs. I have noticed that taste in DH myself and am pretty sure the guys at SoPro have added a little lactose in it to fit their "breakfast" IPA name

Can we expect anything from Parish this week other than probably a 4x release Thursday since that is all they seem to be concerned with anymore.

their random, out of the blue 4XDH Envie seems to have become the norm ETA: Parish makes some good beer but they have no regularity at all so you never know what in the hell they are going to release or when. You can have a great IPA from them and never see it for half a year lol

Mosaic DDH Envie is probably happening? That's what I've inferred from an Instagram account, anyway. But I could be wrong.
