14 and 15 BCBS are not good IMO. 13 was an odd year. I bought 3 13 bcbs kegs and turned down 2 more. It was plentiful everywhere. I suspect it was them(AB) purging all the old stuff and '14 bcbs rang in the new stuff.14 and 15 are shitty stouts that they propped up the abv and mouthfeel of with adjuncts then hoped the barrel would hide the flaws, its not. Drink a local ba stout or get a small batch one from someone and you'll see my truth is undeniable.
Royal Oil might be the best beer I have ever had, its what Utopias would be if it wanted to be a good beer instead of a novelty strong beer(full disclosure Utopias is still a good drink its just not a beer). It exposes the bcbs
