Thanks to Kim for posting most of my BD. Last one was a To OI Garden of Eden. Solid DIPA. I was really impressed how well the AAL and Grace and Grit were holding up. Really like CBD, would kill to have something similar in LC.

My closest friend from work got the news that her aunt passed away today, so I took her to Lilly's and Avenue because she said she wanted noodles and beer. We shared a number of pours.
NOLA Stout in 4 Roses barrels
NOLA Stout in Wild Turkey barrels
NOLA Stout in Dickel barrels
(321 -- 4 Roses was a little boozy. Dickel had some awesome rich chocolate flavors coming through. Wild Turkey was a nice middle ground.)
NOLA Lowerline
Bayou Teche Biere Joi 2014 (started to develop some more pronounced pepper characteristics, not sure I'd age that one)
Bayou Teche Knotts Berry Ale (had some definite fruitiness going on, but as it warmed it developed some funk that wasn't so pleasant)

Maybe it was the order in which I drank them but I thought the wild turkey was hot. Couldn't even taste the booze in the 4 roses and was definitely getting some sweet caramel out of the Dickel. Was nice to try them all side by side like that. Barrels really make a difference.
