Yall ‘member Sip? I ‘member Sip. I ‘member first time I had it. I was at my buddy’s place in NOLA. He’s opening a brewery in the next few months. It’s gonna wreck y’all’s world. Anyway. We had it next to Heady. Out of the five of us, four of us preferred Sip.
Sip don’t taste the same. Heady is still great, though. I think something changed. Anyway. FBD after downing a 4-pack of Sip.

I had a Sip of Sunshine recently and saw my previous check-in was a 4.75 and thought to myself, "wtf this is a 4.00-4.25 at best." Amazing how beer community has changed over the years and our taste has as well

I think the beer scene has evolved pretty quickly in the last 5 years. When Courtyard starts canning it’s a game changer if anyone still wants to trade.
I also think some of the base beers from 3-4 years ago are now dated, even when they were the golden ticket back then.

I really think it changed. They started contract brewing down at Two Roads to spread it around a little more and that was that. I haven’t bought it in awhile because, yeah, but I hoped with Lawson’s opening the new spot it would bring Sip back.
I mean. It’s fine. But at $17 for a 4-pack I could have got some Galaxy Fort Point today.
ETA: our tastes have definitely changed, but drink a Heady. shite is still good. It’s not trendy in flavor, but it’s good. Then drink an old school style Stone IPA. That’s what I mean. I don’t think we’ve moved beyond Sip, I think Sip is just a different beast. And we’re beyond THAT.

Sup Yeezy.
FBD was my first legal Ghost and 1# before dinner. My low expectations were met. At least there was Ghost. 2BD was the rest of the Ingenious Blueberry Crumble. I forgot how insane Backyard Grill's tap list was. 40+ taps of real legit stuff including the newest St Arnold Divine Reserve (19)

Yea, it wasn't what I remembered. But even the Focal Banger I was sent didn't meet previous check-ins limo. I've seen people post the same about Pliny the Elder and other old school 5* beers

I’d say Focal still bangs. Had one a month ago at a bar here because we got some limited distribution. It’s not the new cutting edge stuff, but it’s still good.

The first time I tried Sip I thought it was one of the best beers I'd had. Next few times not so much. I think the beer has changed and not my tastes in this case.

Yea, it was more traditional I know my taste has changed as I love the super hazy stuff that is light to drink

FND Celestial Apollo 11
Weel-mounted on his grey mare Meg,
A better never leg,
Tam skelpit on thro' dub and mire,
Despising wind, and rain, and fire;
Whiles holding fast his gude blue bonnett,
Whiles crooning o'er some auld Scots sonnet,
Whiles glow'rin round wi' prudent cares,
Lest bogles catch him unawares;
Kirk-Alloway was drawing nigh,
Where ghaists and houlets nightly cry.
By this time he was cross the ford,
Where in the snaw the chapman smoor'd;
And past the birks and meikle stane,
Where drunken Charlie brak's neck-bane;
And thro' the whins, and by the cairn,
Where hunters fand the murder'd bairn;
And near the thorn, aboon the well,
Where Mungo's mither hang'd hersel'.
Before him Doon pours all his floods,
The doubling storm roars thro' the woods,
The lightnings flash from pole to pole,
Near and more near the thunders roll,
When, glimmering thro' the groaning trees,
Kirk-Alloway seem'd in a bleeze,
Thro' ilka bore the beams were glancing,
And loud resounded mirth and dancing.
