FBD - Playing with my meat

FBD is a Bananastout from Deviate. Normally, I'm not a fan of banana flavor in my beer, and usually it's a banana flavor imparted by Belgian style yeasts that I am not a fan of.
This beer is a stout with cinnamon and banana. The flavors come separately - first cinnamon, and banana make an appearance at the end - a hint of banana candy
And a picture of my meat.

Not sure, but headed to Kirby ice house in Houston at 12. Should be enjoyable. About to check the list.

NBD.
My meat is hot. My wife is getting excited. Oddly, the dog is, too.

Yep. I have a Slow n Sear and a DigiQ temp regulator. Once I get it going, it's almost pellet grill easy.
I switched from gas when I moved from Portland. My intent was to get a Performer and a small gas grill, but I used the gas grill budget to buy accessories for the kettle.

Pretty calm in BR now. We'll be getting the rain and wind soon. It looks like the worst stuff might stay east of us. Fingers crossed....

NBD is juicy. My meat is wrapped up. Can't be to careful these days. I must be sure not to finish prematurely, though.
