FBD: Bayou Teche Cocodrie

My favorite brew by these guys. I really enjoy it every time.

This is my first time trying it in the 12 oz bottles because those tend to have the lingering metallic aftertaste. However, this didn't have it at all, just like their bombers bottled at their Arnaudville brewery. Looked at the bottle, and these 12 oz'ers were bottled at the BT brewery.

Got a feeling that once they start brewing the rest of their 6-pack line up at Bayou Teche instead of Lazy Magnolia, their sales and overall customer satisfaction should increase.

Green capped BT bottles come from Arnaudville, not Lazy Mag. Cocodrie had been a constant in my fridge since they started coming in 6ers.

I remember speaking with Andrew at Parish about this last year, and he mentioned it could have something to do with the cleaning/disinfecting of the bottle caps.

Very nice Black IPA. Lots of citrusy/piney hops in the aroma and taste. A little roasted malt on the finish. Nice, light body. I'm enjoying this a lot after a run. Finish could be smoothed out a little, but I'm satisfied with this.

Keep the cicadas coming.

I agree.

FBD is an Ethos. This is an enjoyable IPA for sure.
