And in thirty years the kids now will go “things were so much better and simpler then”

That’s how I know I’m getting old. All the shite my parents said I’d realize and appreciate has happened.

We used to go up to our place on the lake all the time, in the fall and winter, and my dad would wake us up at 8 and we’d trudge into the woods to cut and haul wood out, chop it (sledge and wedge), and stack it, in 50 degree rainy weather, and I fricking despised it. But it made me better.

And the summers and skiing until dark and bonfires and lake cruises and fishing I’ll never forget

shite, playing on the frozen lake and ice fishing was awesome

They actually did know and actually were there at one point. Funny thing is, they were 28 when they had me, 25 when they had my brother. They put my brother in the back foot well of our mid 80s cutlass supreme two door to bring him home from the hospital

frick a car seat and seat belts. My brother turned out great

So I think some of you baws know cakes works in hotels. So she got tickets to the show tonight and this after party at a hotel our friends work at. I wasn’t Interested cuz frick these musicians.

But anyway it was the “founders party” with Perry Farrell who is one of the only people I know from music and lolla because the dude invented it. And they’re getting a live performance from him on the rooftop.

Lesson, dating a hotelier has its benefits

It was funny hearing her pronounce the party. It took me a sec and I said, Perry Farrell? Uh, that’s the guy who started Lolla and was the singer of Jane’s addiction.

If I would’ve known he’d show up and known it’d be outside maybe I would’ve gone but goddamn I love drinking on my balcony solo and smoking meat and talking to you fellas

Was it Jane’s addiction back then?
