, called Hokus Pokus

Wow, remember going to the OG Hokus Pokus when I was a kid (no shite). First place I ever saw a worm in the bottom of mezcal.

Hope they do good. Might have to make a trip to talk to the owner.

That is a good one. FBD was Stone Levitation with a late lunch at Parrain's.

Mediocre would be welcome in Ascension. It's hard to find anything but some Abita, New Beligum, Tin Roof (blonde, perfect time, voodoo bengal), Nola (blonde, brown). Leblanc's sells some other stuff, but good luck finding anything really good.

Tdeuce, hokus pokus opens Monday, the 8th. my bad. I just called them, and they will carry craft beer.

When our field tech was out there doing the install, I was the guy he had to call when he ran into a problem.. that's how I know of their existence. I've been waiting for them to open for nearly 2 months :CSB:

good luck with that. Nothing worse than all the info being there and someone refusing to admit it. They just keep looking for problems that don't exist.

This was solid. I really liked the 51, the Painted Black IPA, and the Rescue Dog Red. The Everyday Ale and Wheat were nothing special.

The Rescue Dog Red was not available last time I was there. I agree that the 51 was solid and that the Everyday Ale and the Wheat were just OK. The Black IPA was pretty good. I am looking forward to trying their IPA that will be ready next weekend.
