Any recommendations in Russian River Valley?

Check out this link. You can generate a list of wineries by varietal, region, whatever. Some of those recommended below are open by appointment only, so make sure you call first if you want to visit.
Russian River Wineroad
Rochioli
Swan
Coffaro
Ridge Lytton Springs
Rafanelli
Littorai
I would highly recommend Copain. They used to make wine in a warehouse in Santa Rosa, but have moved into an actual winery. Pinot and Rhone varietals at a variety of price points, most made in a style that's a good blend of old and new. Wells Guthrie is the winemaker, really solid guy and the wines are superb across the board. If I were going to the RRV, this would probably be my first stop.
Go to the Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa if you want to buy wine to take home. I think they'll also ship it for you too, but it's probably too hot now.
Have a good time and be sure and tell us about your visit when you return.
