is Pluckers really that well regarded in BR?

How does it stack up against the sports bar competition?

Not sure how regarded outside of the college area they really are. I have never tried it until they opened the new location. But for wings though I will say they are the best I have had in BR.

For a sports bar the one on Bluebonnet with all the TVs would be a great place to watch a game so long as they did something about all the light getting in if there during the day.

I ask because it all started here in Austin, and they've got 5, 6 locations I guess. And nobody here really regards them all that well. They do very well off the Hispanic blue collar demographic, but if we had 10 conversations about what sports bar to go to watch a game, I'd be shocked if Pluckers was mentioned more than once. It seems from reading this board (limited sample, I know) that everyone in BR is fairly pumped about them, and they just arent that big of a deal here.

It's one of my favorite places to watch a game if I'm going out. I haven't been to the new one but the old one has plenty of TVs and cheap enough beer. Plus some of the best wings around.

There isnt a whole lot of sports bars in BR for some reason though. With the number of TVs they have and the fact that they serve pretty good wings they would be one of my top picks to go for a game. But I wouldnt sit near a window unless they could prevent the glare.

Yes pluckers is one of the best sports bars to go to in BR.

Spicy Ranch and Medium are my favorites. Fajita used to be before they got rid of it.

Ok so I really like Spicy Ranch now.. However does anyone really find it remotely spicy? I havent tried reg ranch but I would prefer if the Spicy Ranch were actually spicy but it is a good flavor.

Spicy Lemon Pepper and Mandarin are also good.
