I’m looking to get into green tea. I have no idea what’s good, what isn’t, and what to look for.

Do you guys have any favorite brands?

Loose leaf teas require a bit more work and equipment but will generally produce better results. I don't know that I have any particular brand that I favor, Bag or loose. There's a lot of different variations of teas even just looking at green teas. Generally you get what you pay for, though I will say a while back I got a pack of 100 tea bags from an Albertsons for maybe 2 or 3 dollars. I didn't expect it to be great and it wasn't, but it was OK and an amazing value at that price. I used it as a cheap sipping something while working drink.

If you have a tea shop in your area go check it out and let them help you pick out a few types to try. Red stick spice is in br if you are. Don't know what kind of changes they've made with covidity but the last time I went they had a large selection and you could have them brew a cup up while you were there too try.

Costco has some in bottles that I love. It's called Ito En Oi Ocha. Made with Japanese green tea and it is sugar free. It's made with water, green tea, and vitamin C.

Mellow Monk

Fantastic Japanese green tea if you like a “grassier” taste. Top Leaf is my favorite.
