I bought a fifth of Elmer T. Lee at Matherne's Market yesterday and was very pleased. I have been partial to Bulleit Bourbon and Eagle Rare lately but decided to try something different. Sorry if this has been covered ad nauseum.

Elmer is one of the best bourbons you can buy for the price. In fact it's better than a good bit of more expensive ones...

I think Elmer T Lee and Eagle Rare share similar mash bills

I agree that Eagle Rare and Elmer T. Lee are similar. Any other bourbons you would recommend in or around that price range that y'all care for?

Nothing wrong with ol' Elmer. Another good one that goes cheap is Evan Williams 1783...
