Been a long time since I have been to natchitoches, but there used to be a couple of resturants on front street called mamma’s and pappa’s. I liked pappa’s,as they had a great ribeye

Papas is now just basically a hamburger joint, but mamas has a great menu, def. The better of the two now.the seafood dip and seafood platter are legit.

The Landing and Mayeaux's for steak/seafood, Mama's for oysters, Papa's for sandwiches, poboys, etc. are all on Front St. right at its heart.
Merci Beaucoup also does a lot of seafood and is on Church St. halfway between Front St. and Second St. Lasyone's for meat pies and Southern Food is on Second St., which is the next block over from Front.
All of them are within a two block square area. A couple more blocks down Front St., from those other places, there's a Japanese place whose name escapes me at this moment and Maglieaux's, a sort of Italian place.

Sorry can’t be of more help, but this doesn’t exist in downtown Natchitoches.

You’re not going to find anything that people would consider really fine dining in downtown Natchitoches. But there are a few decent places. Poster above me is right about Papas going downhill bit Mamas still being pretty good.
Might as well go grab some $10 Chef Wok.

Recently had a nice meal at The Landing. Would recommend.
Pioneer Pub has lots of beer options for later.

You're not going to be blown away by anything here but Mayeaux's is your best bet.
