Downtown Dallas - Trinity Groves? Planned changed - have tonite and 2morro nite dinner...

A friend recommended I go out to Trinity Groves for a beer and some grub. What should I look for?
Staying at Adolpho Hotel. French Room was renovated but Im not diggin that tonite....
Anything walking distance? Im happy to uber tho

I read what u said last year, gonna skip it.
Leaning towards eating here or walking nearby tonite. CBD Provisions or Campisi’s. Guys here say City Hall n hotel is good tho

Small Brewpub looks good. Probably hit it early afternoon/evening 2morro

BrainDead Brewing in deep ellum close to you is good....has good food too. Or if you go to deep ellum go get tacos at Revolver tacos and then go over to Braindead or Dots Hop House.
ETA: Small Brew Pub is ok. The beer is so-so and the James Beard chef is gone and they re-did the menu. If you haven't been to Meddlesome Moth then go there....food and beer selection is very good. Common Table is another good spot.....parking sucks though.....Uber over there. For just beers, Craft & Growler is great.

Haven’t been in about a year, but I used to go to one eyed penguin downtown a lot. It’s right next to the adolphus.

Deep Ellum is fun, Cane Rosso or Tanoshii Ramen are my favorite places down there.
Whatever brewery makes Deep Ellum IPA is also a good time, it’s escaping my mind right now though.
Lower Greenville has some great food places as well. Blind Butcher, Wabi House, Rapscallion, etc.

Deep ellum has gotten pretty big now. I’m not a fan of their regular or easy peasy ipas, but their hop seeker is really good.
