Gin has become my summer cocktail the past few years. I like it with ice, at least 3 ounces of gin, some sprite and a squeeze of either lemon or lime to take the edge off the sweetness of the soda.
Oh, the reason for 3 oz. of gin is I make mine in a tall iced tea glass, so that works out right for me.

I don't drink it that often, but, when I do it is usually Hendricks.

Lulz. I love my Tanqueray. I don’t care what anyone says. I love a gin ‘n’ tonic. I love a gin ‘n’ juice. I love a martini. I can even drink a gin ‘n’ Diet Coke.
I’ve actually never made a Bloody Mary with gin. I should probably try that. I’ve made my own Bloody Mary mix many times, refining it from Emeril’s recipe. I’ve tried it with a variety of garnishes. Always with celery. And then with various kinds of olives, pickled veggies, and Landjägers. But I’ve only made it with vodka.
