We'll be there the same week. You should definitely call soon for dining reservations though. I called about a week ago and couldn't get a dinner reservation at California Grill for earlier than 9:40 any day that week.

perfect time IMO

get there at 8:45....grab a drink and watch the fireworks

by the time the show is finished and you go to the bar for a second pre meal drink, your table should be ready

the biggest problem i find when eating durig the show is my food gets cold

I've been to Disney a whole bunch of times (I think 5 to be exact). When I was small I just remember going to the Contemporary and the nice spread they had.

I went on a class trip the 2nd week of january and I have to say I think it was the slowest week of the year. You could ride any ride you wanted with little or no wait. It felt like we had the park to ourselves.

If fireworks are at 10pm then you could watch them while eating. We ate at Ohana at 9:40 which was the last seating and fireworks were at 10. Depends on the night sometimes fireworks are at 9 some times at 10. I wouldnt eat at either of the two without having the oppotrtunity to see the show. They dim the lighs down and play the set music.

Wow they have the Wishes at 6pm in early december? Is it even dark by then? Thats odd. Looks like late december its at 9pm. Yet Epcots fireworks looks to be at 9:30 most of the time.

I changed my reservation at Ohana on Dec 3rd and am going to Tokyo Dining instead. I heard Ohana was more geared for kids. It's just going to be the wife and I

??? I have no idea what would make Ohana geared towards kids. Just me and my gf went and it was great. I think they do some things during the earlier sittings and stuff but when we were there it was like dining at a Fogo De Chao or texas de brazil. Im not aware of anything that makes that geared towards kids
