Honeycomb is alive and kicking...have a box in the pantry right now. Buc Wheats was one of my favorites, and I remember liking the Cap'n Crunch knock-off Grins and Smiles and Giggles and Laughs.

There was a ceral similar to Cap n Crunch in the 80's called Halfsies. It's marketing was it had half the sugar as other cereals. It was actually pretty good as I recall.
