Is it on shelves anywhere any more? or has the aluminum shortage affected it in absence of aluminum cans?

For a while, it was available from Amazon at a reasonable price, but that has stopped.

Both regular and diet Barq's have disappeared from the shelves in Texas. Last couple times I had to pick up and bring home from Lafayette.

Same in AL. Been missing from stores since early summer. I hear it can be found sometimes in Louisiana. Not sure why it would be there and not anywhere else.

Not to hijack, but the same thing happened to the IBC brand this summer as well.
Started with the diet root beer, then all of the IBC products gradually evaporated off the shelves. The store managers were ordering them, they just were not delivering any. It was the same in Ar,Tx ,La ,Al ,Ok , Ms.
The regular rootbeer and cream soda has reappeared in the last week or so, hopefully the diet root beer follows suit as well.
