Denver Brewery and Brew Pub Suggestions Needed

Ok beer nerds, please help me out with some good places I need to make sure and hit up.
I'm thinking of taking a brew tour with one of the tour companies my first evening in town so I'm sure that will help me with the lay of the land and such.
Of course I want to know about the best beer up there, but a good pub to grab a bite to eat would be nice too.
Thanks

We did a Great divide tasting/tour and then off to Falling Rock for the rest of the night eating and drinking everything in sight.
Couldn't have had a better time.

I would agree with Great Divide but I went to Cheeky Monk when I was up there and it was great.

I was going to say Great Divide... guess there's an echo in here.

Oh yeah, we finished the night off at the Cheeky Monk. lol. I have a horrible memory but that place was awesome too. Nice little sit down dinner with some awesome belgian beers.

How long will you be there?

I will be in town for five nights. Will be free after 4:00 every day to do whatever I want.

If you are just going to stay in denver then Great Divide is a must. Its my favorite brewery in town. You can also hit up Breckenridge on Kalamath, it is where they actually make the beer. There is a Breckenridge brew pub on Market near Great Divide if you want to just stay in that area. Thise are the two breweries to hit up in town. If you go over to Golden there is Golden City Brewing which is awesome and worth the short trek.
There are several brew pubs in town including Wunkoop, Renegade, and Wits End to name a few. If you can make it out to Aurora then Dry Dock is awesome. If you are an IPA fan you need to make it out there(about 15 minutes from downtown). Dry Dock draft and bottles are available at stores and bars around town.
For beer bars you have to go to Falling Rock, it is the best beer bar in America if not the world. Fresh Craft is down the street and has good food. Euclid Hall has a good beer selectiona nd even better food. Cheeky Monk is a belgian beer bar that has the best selection of Belgian beers I have seen. Hops and Pie in LoDo area is pretty great also.
If you have a car you should go to Boulder and check out Avery. Also hit up Back Country Pizza.
Longmont has Oskar Blues and Left Hand, both have cool tap rooms.
Fort Collins is worth the 45 minute trek. New Belgium, Odell's, Funk Werks, Fort Collins Brewing all within a 5 mile radius.

Perfect.
I've hit most of these and post is spot on. And the trek to Ft Collins is worth it if you have a sober driver.
I haven't dined out much of anywhere but the brew pubs, but I really liked the
Yard House
The draft beer selection is awesome(you can check out their "all the time" selections online). I think it's a chain, but I really did have some good food there and it's in the heart of downtown. I'll be back in a couple of weeks too and I intend on hitting it up again.

Thanks to all. I probably will not have enough time to make it out to the moutains and such, so other than possibly catching a Rockies game, I will probably just be on a beer drinking mission every evening.
I haven't heard very many good stories of restaurants in Denver, so I'm probably going to skip trying to do any high end dining with this trip.
Will report back on my adventure in a few weeks.

Also one of the Falling Rock owner's wife is from Baton Rouge so he is by default an LSU fan.
And dont let someone tell you to go to Rock Bottom Brewery. If you have to go somewhere on 16th street mall go to the Paramount to drink.
You should also walk into Star Bar and see if they have anything special on tap. Its a dive bar but every now and then they have a rare beer on tap.

Paramount looks right up my ally. Thanks for the tip. Good happy hour every day too. I'm not sure WTF this is, but I want it

Hey 8thyear,
Have you been to Old Mill Brewery in Littleton?
$1 housebrewed beers after 9 and $1 for two tacos and other insane specials after 9.
