America. Where opening a can of food and dumping it onto a plate = "cooking"

They're canned but seasoned perfectly. And as much hate as Dempseys get about the green beans and not "cooking" them, you have to give credit where credit is due. It has good food

I do give them credit, and I support them, but the green beans thing is just strange to me for a place that takes pride in hopping its own fries. The rest of the meal is good. It's just that I can't understand why put the work into all that, and stop short when it comes to green beans, which are my favorite. I realize many of their patrons don't focus on vegetables, but I happen to think they are as much a part of the meal as the other items. They aren't just color on a plate, and perhaps if the veg was really amazing good, people would begin rethinking the importance of the green bean.

i agree, but honestly i think they're good

but they do home grow the herbs used to spice certain items and used to garnish the dishes. i know the owners try to take care of the customers as best as they can, they even looked into setting up a way to boil crawfish but there is absolutely no room in the back as is. maybe you'll get your fresh green beans one day

you haven't

roasted fresh green beans are awesome

olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder roasted for about 10 minutes, then finish with some fresh parm

they are like healthy french fries

I dont mind either. shite you can get out of there eating a full meal for $10.

Cutting some corners when the food is that price is not too terrible.

Fwiw i surprisingly never eat there
