Deer stuffed cornbread:

Random seasonings:
Season 1:
Season 2:
Ok, back to the start…Making stuffed cornbread (mom always called it Mexican Cornbread, but IDK why) with ground deer roughly using this:
Bacon grease:
MOAR bacon grease, let’s build (I put the bacon grease in the recipe in this mix too):
Start with a cup of wet mix:
Meat and onions mix:
Tillamook Extra Sharp:
Rest of mix:
Baked:
Cooled and cut:
Eat:
A bit too meaty, oh well. Bagged cheese might have held up better?

My grandmother made a similar version. We always called it cowboy cornbread. Brings back memories. Thanks for posting.
