Something within a budget, Also will not be used that often. Mainly to grind up some steak and various meats for ground meat. Burger type stuff.

Is this too much to ask, something easy to clean, easy to operate and say <$100

If you have a Kitchen Aid blender, there is an attachment that will suit your purpose.

Honestly, for small amounts like you are talking, just get a #12 manual meat grinder. It will easily handle all you are wanting.

Ok thanks. Pretty cheap from what I found. I will go that route.

I can remember using this tool when I was a little boy. Nostalgia...

I have a LEM #10 that I got a few years ago and love it. It is a manual crank, does a good job in grinding the meat, comes with 2 different grind size plates and the tubes for stuffing the casings for sausage.

My only recommendation is to also get a designated sausage stuffer in the 5-7 lb. range to use to stuff sausages if you plan on using the grinder in that capacity. A designated stuffer makes it much easier than using the LEM grinder by a long shot. You can order casings in varying sizes on-line if you decide to make your own sausage.

I know the grinder was well under $100 and the sausage stuffer will run between $100-120 for a decent stainless unit that can hold 5-7 lbs. of meat for making sausage.

You can hook a drill with a 1/2" chuck to it to make an electric......

This is a great grinder for occasional use. I have ran over 500lbs through mine and its still going strong.

This is what I do with my LEM #10. I found a bolt that has the same thread as the eye bolt that holds the crank arm into place. It works good, but you may have to learn to adjust the speed.
