Tried it for the first time tonight! Terrible!!

The oysters aren’t even in a half shell. Straight from container that had a terrible taste.

Smoked pork and brisket tacos had zero smoke flavor and bland in general.

This will be an expensive failed adventure to say the least by the Sammy’s group.

Chris Shaheen built that and brought Sammy in. Looks like a nice facility hope they fix that.

the food is garbage. I agree it’s very nice but man but no way people eat there a second time. I just couldn’t believe the oysters. Straight from a container you would use for gumbo. Chargrilled my arse!! The shite on top the chargrilled oysters was gelatin.

That might work in the Midwest but not in south La

I ate there once. Was expensive as hell for tiny arse portions. No thanks. That only works at real nice restaurants where the food is really good.

That just means they don’t have anyone that knows how to shuck or don’t want to pay a shucker. I’ll buy Wilson’s Oysters while in Houma and do the same but I know how fresh they are. They aren’t sitting in the back of a reach in refrigerator for a week.

Seems to me they don’t know what kind of menu they really want to execute. Wonder what local sourced farm they use for the fried Mac and cheese.

Curry, cerviche, poke, gumbo, tacos, oysters, Cuban, ravioli, burgers. It’s an abortion of a menu.

I’m out there a good bit due to the volleyball league and I’ve had good and bad meals. They made a few of my friends have to get a manager involved over getting three different tacos instead of just three of the same in their menu. It was ridiculous. Most of the appetizers are good though

I went once and enjoyed it. Had the Cuban steak which was really good. Also tried one of their raw oyster varieties that had crabmeat on top and they were great. All of their raw options are served on the half shell. I agree, I don’t like the fact that their chargrilled oysters are served in that metal pan instead of still on the shell.

I love Creole Cabana. Awesome patio setup for a Sunday day drinking.. especially to watch a game. Frozen drink that kicks your arse. Different food that’s all been good for me, especially the Cuban.

They blocked off an entire 1/4th of the outdoor space for my birthday and we had a great get-together there.
