I don't know man. Were they boiled or steamed already? And from where? I assume the crawfish are still in tact, or is it just the tail meat?
I assume they are still intact. No clue how they are precooked. Going to see once I get there.

Remember these are yankees, so as long as they get spiced up and are edible, I'm sure they will think it's great. I will let y'all know how it turns out, about to head over there. Thanks for the help!

In agreement on everything but I feel 30 minutes is a tad long for precooked crawfish .

Are they precooked without the shell? You can buy crawfish tails frozen, I really hope this is not what your boiling. Also if your boiling precooked crawfish WITH the shell, ive never seen this.
God knows what kind of bastardization they've done to the crawfish up there in the Northeast. Hell, in my experience you can't even get good boiled crawfish in Hot Springs or Little Rock, even they are too far north for good ones.
Word of advice I've found thr hard way, if your not within 50 miles of Louisiana, around the Redneck Riviera, or have a true coon-arse teaching/cooking them for you… don't bother because they'll turn out to be shite.

What are the chances this dude gets up there and they are expecting him to boil 10 individually wrapped bags of 1pound frozen Crawfish tails?
This sounds like a nightmare.

So they had two 5 lb bags of frozen whole precooked crawfish. No propane burner, so we were left with a couple pots on the stove. The house STUNK lol. People were walking in from the outside and were like "it smells like poop in here."
We overheated the first batch. It tasted ok, not as spicy as I like it but still had some spice/flavor. The 2nd batch was better timed and more tender. It was definitely the worst crawfish I ever had, but even for being the worst, it was still good.
There were about 10 people there and only one other person had ever eaten them before (the guy whose house we were at). About half the people tried it but only 4 of us really ate any, with me and the host throwing down most of it.
Thanks again for the help.

Well I guess lesson learned...don't mix yankees and southern/cajun food...especially don't let them buy the product or do the cooking at their place, they just have no idea what kind of setup is needed. Did you at least have lots of beer with them?

 those little guys gave their lives for that?
