Always run a Granny Smith apple and a barlett pear through a food processor and stir into the dressing before baking. Learned that from the old folks, wish I would have paid more attention to other dishes they made.

Nothing fancy, but pretty much how my grandmother made it growing up.

Very close to what my mom did and I do now. I've never added bell peppers but I'm sure I would like it.

The one twist that my mom added is sliced boiled eggs tucked just under the surface.

My grandmothers recipie is posted n Rat’s cookbook. Only used yellow cornmeal cornbread cooked in multiple cast iron skillets… homeade stock… then combined and baked in a magnalite pot. Haven’t had one better to change what I’ve taught my wife and kids. Now my grandson gets the goodness.

Jiffy does not have a place in this house. Sugar is for dessert!

I did this Cornbread-Andouille Stuffing last night. Turned out great.

I cooked some cornbread nice and thin in a cast iron. Then just rough cubed up a half a loaf of french bread.
