Not pie, but cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

My tree is acting weird. I have about 500 fruits on it (No BS). Some are already ripened but last year they were not ripe until January and into February.

Y'all are killing me with the satsuma talk. Moved away from a mature productive backyard orchard a couple years ago, and my new orchard is still too young to do much. Out of 12+ trees, I have four meyer lemons and two navel oranges. High hopes for next year, though: my santa teresita lemon tripled in size in 24 mos, and all of the other trees at least doubled.

The olives are still too small to be productive.

my satsumas are loaded
they are pretty good now but after first chill they usually get much sweeter

lemons i have out of the butt. the tree is about 30' high and it makes easily several hundred fruit every year. i use what i can and let the rest fall

tell me about your olives...

Olive variety is arbequina. Two larger trees about 8-10' tall; two smaller trees abt 4-6 ft. In ground about 18 mos...all flowered last spring and set some fruit, but no olives remained on trees to harvest.

First one if the year

While cooking this afternoon I remembered pork chops in curried satsuma sauce.
Modified off this recipe years ago, use Brown sugar instead of honey.
