Heading there this weekend for dinner. It has been a minute. Anything different there that is a must?

Sweetbreads (though Clancys are better)
Turtle soup
Usually get a fish dish as entree

25¢ martinis for lunch of course (though the nazis now limit you to 3)

Commanders has always been hit or mostly miss for me. The dishes all have one or two too many elements. But the classics, turtle soup, shrimp Henican, whatever entree sounds most boring, and the desserts are all pretty solid.

I don’t believe they do the 25 cent martinis at dinner. And even if they did you are better off ordering one of the real martinis or a sazerac (which they do a great job with). Those 25 cent rotgut martinis aren’t worth it. Incredible wine list as well.

It’s weird because they do the absolute best brunch in the city but their dinner misses the mark. I can’t figure it out
