We're out of Canebrake til Thursday anyway. We burned through that first half-barrel in 5 days.

I didn't know that you would be getting any. Anyway to bump this thread the next time you do?

Anyone know where to find this stuff in the New Orleans area?

I can't seem to find it.

I've had it on draft at Ave Pub, Bulldog and Rusty Nail (the nail ran out on Saturday, not sure if they have more kegs yet or not).

I've put in a request at Rendezvous.

Other places fill growlers for 12-15 bucks ...
I didn't know you'd have to get permission to do it?

But I understand your concern ...

I don't know if I need a different license or not, but I'll call ABC tomorrow and find out.

Limited Edition release of Grand Reserve. He was brewing that when I talked to him last week... I tried a small-scale test batch that had me a while back

I was at his brewery when he brewed that..I helped a little.

If by "help" I mean sat around and drank beer and played video games.

Andrew told me that Canebrake has 35 tap handles in BR as of today FYI

If it sucks I'm blaming you. I doubt that will happen though.

I guess it's the board's general consensus that Canebrake is the best beer currently being brewed in Louisiana? It's either that or Nola's Irish Channel Stout for me.

Ehh, I doubt the board would go that far. To be honest I'm excited that for the first tip it seems that we actually have the ability to debate what is the best beer brewed in la.

Interesting question. I'm honestly having a hard time thinking of something better.

I feel excited because I started drinking canebreak right when it came out. I feel like an LSU fan who started from the beginning and now bandwagon people are coming along

I remember reading the breaking news about the beer and got some as soon as I could.

It's really good beer and I'm excited to see a local guy do good!

I'll do my part to support him

I've been wanting to try it for months now but haven't been to lafayette

Does that make me bandwagon?
