What’s your method of cleaning your cast iron jambalaya pot?

Put a few inches of water in it and fire up the burner. Use the paddle to splash and scrub the sides and bottom. When its clean, put a light coat of oil on it while its still hot.

Fill the pot with water and let it soak for 30 minutes. Dump the water and scrub with a green scouring pad. It works fine.

Scrub brush and water (no soap).
Heat it back up on low heat for 10 minutes to let any water evaporate.
Put a light coat of oil on it after it cools and put a folded paper towel in the bottom to soak up extra oil.
