Chickpea/Red lentil/Green pea pasta?

I am trying to clean up my diet a bit and picked up a box of both chickpeas and red lentil pasta. They are much higher in protein and fiber than normal pasta. I am sure they do not taste much like regular pasta but I am going to give them a shot soon. Curious who here has tried them and what your thoughts are.

fricking played out narrative.
I am interested as well. I saw a friend eat some chick pea pasta and I asked what were the benefits but didnt really get a response. I do a pretty good job of eating way less than a serving to keep the carbs down but if this helps even more and adds protein I may look into it.

The extra fiber and protein would definitely make a serving more filling. It has about twice the protein of regular pasta and I think the same for fiber.

I've had the Banza chickpea pasta. The taste and texture are pretty much the same as regular pasta once you sauce it.

Havent had the chick pea but have had the lentil. It is what it is. Its still not pasta no matter how hard you try. That said, its better than the squash versions, it has more protein and it healthier than regular pasta.

From what I have read the chickpea tastes the most like real pasta.

We use the red lentil pasta almost weekly. I prefer the taste of the lentil pasta over the chickpea. Pay attention to boiling instructions. If you overcook, it turns mushy
