Yes, but not fully.I like to stop the pasta just short of al dente and let it finish cooking in the oven.
The photo in the casserole with no poppy seed showing is what it looks like after all is mixed together and put into the dish to go into the oven. All that remains in the photo is to sprinkle the poppy seed on top cover with aluminum foil and stick it into the oven.
