We arrived Wednesday. Headed home soon. Our list so far, in order of timing :

Mr. Beef
Gibson’s Bar and Steakhouse
Wrigley Field (Chicago style hotdog)
Armitage Ale House
Sushi San (Lincoln Park)
PiniPico
DeNucci’s (Lincoln Park)
Moody Tongue(bar area)

We’ll hit China Town today and wrap up with Pequoid’s or Malnati’s tonight.
Chicago is a fantastic dining destination. Don’t cheat yourself…plan and go.

I'm confused with Moody Tongue and "bar area," but would say you did a solid run as a visitor. Pretty impressed with Armitage Alehouse, but would definitely recommend many other sushi spots, coffee, and hot dogs through the garden.

What are your Chinatown plans? I'd encourage you try for MCCB. Otherwise, hit Phoenix or Triple Crown for dim sum. Go 4 Food is the most-underrated spot in Chinatown.

Think Lou and Pequod's are pretty generic choices, which isn't a bad thing, but Milly's is Pequod's on steroids these days.

We did Go4Food last summer. Would definitely go again, but I’m just tagging along. Not sure where we will be later today.

Moody Tongue does ala carte in the bar. We wanted that instead of the tasting menu.

Got it - I read "bar area" as neighborhood with bars. My bad. Yes, Moody Tongue has a couple Michelin stars with their dining room but they definitely get some criticism. Their brewmaster has had some pretty heavy assault allegations against him.
