What are some good ones within reasonable distance of the Navy Pier? Any cuisine is fine. Thanks.

I like all food.

Years ago would go to Chicago on business and my boss knew some killer Italian places - little hole in the wall joints with checkered tablecloths, great service and excellent food. This time I'm going for Strictly Sail Chicago.

The original Pizzaria Uno (and it's identical sister Pizzaria Du is directly across the street....that is right, so good there are two of them right across the street from each other) is fairly close. Chicago deep dish pizza at its best!

Gino's East is garbage. The crust tastes like Bisquick.

Is damn good IMO. Individual pizza for 10 dollars makes two meals
