KD just opened his new restaurant in Gonzales (right past K-mart on the right hand side by Thomaas Marine) Had a shrimp poboy the other day that was good and the bread pudding was amazing as always.

I have a few things going on in that area now so I'll give it a try.
Had my FIRST Burger D'Light (isn't that it? On Airline just about across from KD's) today and I have to say it is up there with one of the best around. I got the small cheeseburger and it was incredible and perfect size. Saw a girl order a double large and it was huge.

I work right around the corner if want to meet up for lunch one day, also try Kamals Kafe, my favorite lebanase (but you will remember it all afternoon)
ETA: KD's is further south down airline almost out of town, used to be Aunt Sue's then more recently Young's place.

I eat at Kamls once a week I love it, I find his chicken to be seasoned much more than albasha, but I like albasha mousaka better. At kamals try the chicken schwarma delight, it is the chicken schwarama in a cream sauce, I love it but it is alot of food for luch so I usually get the chicken schwaram sandwhich for lunch,

Also try starlight espresso cafe on Burnside, the chicken walnut salad is great

Someone brought me a burger from their just recently. Drive-In joints have always been my favorite burgers. I even like the burgers from Sonic if (big if) they're fresh.
