I buy the cheap stuff when I only want it for the grease and maybe some flavor in whatever I'm cooking. If I'm gonna eat it, gimme the thick stuff!

Nothing better than buying a pig, raising it for a few years, slaughtering it, curing it then making your own bacon. Really worth the effort in my opinion.
