Afternoon, all. My wife and I are heading to Charleston next week and would like to set aside a day for brewery hopping. So far, we have identified our progression as follows:

Holy City > Revelry > Palmetto > and Edmund's Oast (more of a brewpub).

Our choices are based mainly on close(ish) proximity but are open to any suggestions.

Bump. Surely we have some Charleston brewery aficionados up in here.

The restaurants there have been our focus. We never hit the brewery scene,

Unfortunately never been to the breweries after 2.5 years living here. Revelry has good beers and good rooftop if weather is good. I’ve heard great things about Westbrook brewery tour. Edmunds Oast beer is the best but you’re right it’s more of a restaurant - although there is a new one on upper King that is more brewpub than restaurant.

Hit up Westbrook, and Lagunitas downtown if they opened back up. Cafe craft, neighborhood tap house, craft conundrum all have good selections even tho they aren’t breweries.

The Ordinary

Oops. You have it. Try FIG or Obar.

Yeah I’m thinking FIG might be a good possibility. Depending on if we want a fancy or casual dinner. Plus a BBQ joint likely for the lunch (either Rodney Scott or Home Team).

That was exactly what we hit in one afternoon and had dinner at Edmund’s Oast. You will not be disappointed! I wanted to hit a couple of others, but we were only there for two days.
The second day we went to Proof for cocktails, a wine and cigar place, and went to a rooftop bar that was kinda meh.
