These are all factors that dictate where you would eat within the realm of local establishments as well though.
It's just rather amusing to me that people try to apply all of these different things as if they're exclusive only to chain restaurant dining.

As I have already stated in this thread - guess you skipped over that part - I have been to Italy. Spent 2 weeks there traveling from Rome to Florence to Cinque Terre to Milan to Venice then back to Rome.
And to say Olive Garden's pasta is the closest to what you find in Italy is a fricking joke.

No...chicken noodle was for real bad to the point I'm pretty sure something was wrong w/ it. Like 8 days old or something. So much for consistency. I need out of this thread
